In recent weeks, the cruise ship Panorama from Carnival Cruises was docked in the port of Singapore for a drydock. An important part of the drydock was the periodic maintenance of the existing Hatecke lifeboats. A total of 22 Hatecke lifeboats were handled by the specialists from Hatecke Service Singapore Pte Ltd. The constantly changing weather conditions made this project a significant challenge.
The lifeboats were fully reconditioned, first treated with a special primer, and then finished with a tailor-made pigmented protection system from Impressed Pro Marine in the appropriate color. This treatment ensures, first, an easily maintainable surface and additionally provides an extremely high gloss level. The gloss level after the treatment ranged from 87 GU to 94 GU!
In short, a very successful drydock with impressive results!
